Creeks Girls Lacrosse Announces Details for the 2024 Spring Season

In a recent announcement, the Creeks Girls Lacrosse organization unveiled the structure for its upcoming 2024 spring season. The organization is gearing up for an action-packed season, and here's everything you need to know:

Age Divisions & Eligibility:

- 14U (7/8 grade): Players born between August 1, 2011, and September 30, 2009, are eligible. Parents of 8th graders who fall outside     this age bracket are encouraged to reach out via email for clarifications.
- 12U (5/6 grade): This category includes those born between August 1, 2013, and September 30, 2011.
- 10U (3/4 grade): Players born between August 1, 2015, and September 30, 2013, can participate.
- 8U (1/2 grade): This division, for kids born between August 1, 2017, and September 30, 2015, will see teams playing against each other and various other clubs. Notably, there isn't an official league for the 8U age group.

Cost Structure:

- 14U, 12U, and 10U teams have a registration fee of $300.00 each.
- The 8U team, on the other hand, has a set fee of $225.00.

Practice Sessions:

- Practices for the 14U, 12U, and 10U teams will be held twice weekly at Plantation Park, every Monday and Wednesday, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. The 8U team will have one practice session per week at the same location, either on Mondays or Wednesdays.

Lending a Hand:

The Creeks Girls Lacrosse organization warmly invites community members to volunteer. Available roles include Team Mom/Dad, Assistant Coach, and Board Member positions. Those eager to contribute to the program's success and growth are encouraged to express their interest.

Team Composition:

The U14 and U12 teams require at least 16 players each to form a team. The U10 team, which plays with seven field players and a goalie, mandates a minimum roster of 12 players.

Game Day Details:

Games are scheduled on the following dates: 2/18, 2/25, 3/3, 3/10, 3/24, 4/7, 4/14, and 4/21. Matches will kick off at 12:00 PM, with subsequent games at 1:15 PM, 2:30 PM, and 3:45 PM. Specifically, U14 games are slotted for 12:00 PM and 1:15 PM, U12 at 1:15 PM and 2:30 PM, while U10 matches are likely to be held at 2:30 PM and 3:45 PM.
