As the summer season begins to wind down, the excitement in Jacksonville Beach is gearing up for the highly anticipated Super Girl Beach Lacrosse Tournament. Scheduled to take place on the weekend of November 11-12, this 4v4 tournament promises to be an action-packed event that combines athleticism, beach vibes, and girl power.

The tournament, which will be played in the picturesque setting of Jacksonville Beach Pier, coincides with the Super Girl Surf Pro Festival, the largest women's surfing event in the world. Over the years, this festival has evolved into an extravaganza that offers young women a platform to showcase their skills in various sports, music, and entertainment.

"We are thrilled to bring back the fun this year and create a memorable lacrosse day at the beach," said the organizers. The primary goal of the Super Girl Beach Lacrosse Tournament is to celebrate young women athletes while providing a family-friendly day on the beach.

This year's tournament will feature divisions for 12U, 14U, and High School age girls, ensuring that players of all skill levels and ages can participate. Registration is completely free, and the action-packed event will take place over two days with 12U and 14U divisions competing on Saturday, November 11, and the High School division on Sunday, November 12.

The tournament rules are designed to emphasize fun and creativity. Players will participate in 4v4 games on the sand using mini goals, tennis balls, and no goalies. Traditional lacrosse gear like goalie sticks, long poles, pads, helmets, and goggles will not be used, allowing participants to enjoy the sun, sand, and surf in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.

Each game consists of two 10-minute halves with a 5-minute halftime break, ensuring fast-paced action and plenty of opportunities for every team to shine. All participants will receive a Brine Super Girl Lacrosse pinnie as a keepsake from the event.

As interest in the tournament is high, organizers advise teams to register as soon as possible, as there is a limited number of spots available in each age group. Teams can be created with 4-8 players, and there's no need for an officially registered club team; any group of girls can form a team.
